I am Claudio Bel, a multidisciplinary artist, I create multimedia works seeking a strong connection between different arts. I experiment with poetry, painting, music, and programming, bringing together these expressive channels within video art products, interactive applications, and animated sculptures accessible through virtual and augmented reality.

My scientific profession carried out in daily life is manifested in my artistic exploration which investigates the relationship between man, nature, and technology. I search for meanings within the contemporary human experience and try to define the new trans-human nature of digital natives. I tell from the inside the point of view of cyber organisms: human lives which, through the connection with machines and the universe, find themselves experiencing life paths completely different from those that have characterized the history of mankind up until today. In fact, our experience of the world is no longer made up only of natural and concrete images but is increasingly dotted with abstract and artificial representations. For about 30 years we have lived most of our lives connected to screens and machines, we travel with our minds within completely imaginary universes and, through these, we create profoundly different memories and projections, imbued with glitchy and psychedelic visions.

To overcome the disorientation of this existence that winds along paths never traveled before, the union between science and spirituality is fundamental: science as the basis of reality and spirituality as the understanding of something broader; both necessary and interdependent. Therefore, I focus on what characterizes our lives on a practical level and at the same time I explore worlds and concepts beyond material reality.

Actively engaged for years in connecting artists and collectors within an international community, I have exhibited my works in New York, London, Davos, Milan, and Sardinia.

For me, my role as an artist is to translate the experience of transcendent worlds into this reality, continually seeking innovative ways to connect these parallel universes. Ultimately, my fluid and mysterious art escapes any pattern, it is an alarm clock to bring you back to the state of consciousness and invite you to stop and immerse yourrself in yourself to question your nature again, your role as human being and spiritual entity.
